SYTYCD Season 6 - Top 14 Results
At the end of tonight’s show, 14 become 12 and we’re one week away from finding out who’s on this season’s tour. Hopefully the viewers didn’t screw it up again this week like they did last week.
Tonight’s group performance is really obviously choreographed by Wade Robson, and it’s our favorite so far this season. A lot of the choreography this time around has been sub-par, so it’s nice to see something this quirky and creative on a results show.
The first two couples are called to the stage to learn their fate. Ashleigh and Ryan are predictably safe, which makes us happy. Also predictably, Karen and Kevin are the first couple in the bottom three.
The next couple safe is Ellenore and Ryan, of course. Unfortunately, Noelle and Russell join them after their boring performance last night. And unexplainably, Channing and Victor are in the bottom three.
That leaves the last slot in the bottom three for either Mollee and Nathan, or Kathryn and Legacy. We think we see it coming, but we’re wrong. Mollee and Nathan are in the bottom three, and Kathryn and Legacy are safe.
This week’s Bollywood guest performance is much better than the mind-numbing ballet we had to sit through last week. We love seeing the contestants take on this style, so it’s nice to see it done by professionals.
Ratings for the solos:
Karen: 4/10
Kevin: 5/10
Channing: 8/10
Victor: 7/10
Mollee: 7/10
Nathan: 8/10
Next, we’re “treated” to an Arianthe performance. Who told this girl she could sing? And how much did they have to pay to make other people believe it? This is bad, bad, bad. We rejoice when it’s over.
In keeping with the usual tradition of doing the opposite of what we would do, the judges send Channing home. It’s also the end for Kevin, but that’s not surprising.
Next week, the top 12 perform and we narrow it down to the top 10 on Wednesday.
