SYTYCD Season 6 - Top 12 Results
By the end of tonight’s episode, we’ll know who’s in the top 10 and on the tour. This is always an exciting episode!
And speaking of exciting, the group performance tonight is the most entertaining we’ve seen yet this season. Which is surprising, considering it was choreographed by Tabitha and Napoloeon and we’re usually not fans. But this is so much fun to watch!
Moving right along, Cat calls the first two couples to the stage. Predictably, Karen and Victor are in the bottom three, and Ashleigh and Jakob are safe and in the top 10.
Two more couples learn their fate- Mollee and Nathan are in the bottom three. Kathryn and Legacy are safe and on the tour.
That leaves the dreaded last spot in the bottom three for either Noelle and Russell, or Ellenore and Ryan. We have a pretty good idea what’ll happen, but we’re wrong. Noelle and Russell are safe. Ellenore and Ryan are undeservedly in the bottom three.
Next, a guest performance from Paloma Herrerra. We realize the difficulty of ballet and the training that goes into it, but we hate seeing it so often. It’s so boring to watch. Thankfully, this particular performance is blissfully short.
Ratings for the solos:
Karen: 4/10
Victor: 7/10
Mollee: 5/10
Nathan: 8/10
Ellenore: 9/10
Ryan: 9/10
While the judges deliberate, Shakira performs her single “Give It Up To Me.” We’re a little confused as to why this performance is okay, when Adam Lambert’s at the AMAs was not. She dances around in a skirt that barely covers her and grinds on a mic stand. All the while, she cannot sing. We’re over it.
The judges return to their seats, and it’s bad news for Karen and Victor. We’re not surprised.
On to the top 10!
